At the entrance to the village of Imèr, an anonymous asphalted square is transformed into a landscaped green area designed as a place for rest, encounter, and passage. The new park acts as a link between the built-up area and the riverside zone, becoming a landmark for both residents and visitors.
The parking areas, redistributed along the edges of the green space, take on a strategic role as an interchange hub and a privileged access point to the cycling ring that crosses the Primiero valley.
The internal paths, with their curvilinear and organic layout, connect the various existing pedestrian and cycling routes, turning the park into a system of landscape and social continuity.
At the heart of the park, the paths converge in a resting area: an intimate and welcoming space defined by a circular white concrete fountain, where the running water and the rustling of birch trees create an atmosphere of calm and freshness. The park’s design is completed by a long semicircular step that serves both as a retaining element and as a collective seat for the semicircular picnic tables, encouraging social interaction and informal use of the space.
A measured intervention that seeks to restore identity and environmental quality to the gateway of the village of Imèr, transforming it into a new meeting point between nature, community, and soft mobility.
